KSW41: Mańkowski vs Soldic Results

If you missed it, you can rewatch KSW 41 right now via online PPV on www.KSWTV.com for the next 72hours.

KSW 41 Results:
Main Event Welterweight Title
Roberto Soldic def. Borys Mankowski via TKO (retirement, unable to answer the bell) at the end of round 3.
And we have a new welterweight champion. Roberto Soldic (13-2) continues his vicious winning streak with a TKO win over Borys Mankowski (19-7-1). 22-year-old Soldic put in an incredible performance picking Mankowski apart with punches and kicks. ’The Tasmanian Devil’ showed great heart but ultimately succumbed and couldn’t answer the bell inbetween the third and fourth rounds.
Co-Main Event Heavyweight
Tomasz Oswiecinski def. Popek Monster (3-2) via TKO (strikes), round 2, 2:58.
In an incredible fight, a fight of two halfs, Tomasz Osweicinski (1-0) fought through adversity to TKO Popek Monster (3-3) in the second round. Popek dominated the first round and it was close to being stopped by the referee on a number of times but ’Strachu’ survived and he came out in the second round and landed a huge takedown. From there the actor turned fighter got positioning and landed strikes on the ground until the referee steppend in forcing the whole entire arena to their feet in disbelief.
Vacant Featherweight Title
*Kleber Koike Erbst def. Artur Sowinski via sub (RNC), round 3, 3:56.
It was the rematch. First time out it was Sowinski who picked up the win. This time it was Kleber Koike Erbst (23-4-1) who walked away the winner as he submitted Sowinski (18-9) via rear naked choke in the third round in what was another entertaining fight between these two rivals.
*Despite Erbst getting the win he does not get the title due to him missing weight. The title remains vacant.

Marcin Wrzosek def. Roman Szymanski via unanimous decision (30-27x3).
Marcin Wrzosek (13-4) showed his experience in this fight as he beat Roman Szymanski (10-4) in all three rounds of this fight. A very solid performance from the ’The Polish Zombie’. He might be next for the title.
Michal Andryszak def. Fernando Rodrigues Jr. via KO, round one, 0:26.
It was being billed as a ’blink and you could miss it fight’ and it was certainly just that. Michal Andryszak (20-5) KO’d former heavyweight champ Fernando Rordigues Jr. (11-4) just 26 seconds into the first round. Are we looking at the next KSW heavyweight champion?
Damian Janikowski def. Antoni Chmielewski via TKO (GnP), round 2, 2:33.
It was a massive test in just his second pro fight but Janikowski (2-0) did it and put in a great performance and beat former KSW champion Antoni Chmielewski (32-17) via TKO in the second round. The Olympic medalist looked in trouble with Chmielewski on his back but he snuck out the back door and managed to grapple his way to a side mounted crucifix and reign down punches until the referee was forced to step in. We have a new middleweight contender here in KSW.
Grzegorz Szulakowski def. Kamil Szymuszowski via sub (heel hook), round 1, 3:33.
Szulakowski (9-1) made a statement in this fight defeating Szymuszowski (16-5) with a heel hook midway through the first round. Both fighters needed to do something special in order to put their name into the mix for a shot against lightweight champ Mateusz Gamrot and Szulakowski might have done just that.
Salahdine Parnasse def. Lukasz Rajewski via MD (29-28x2, 29-29).
20-year-old Salahdine (10-0-1) faced his toughest test of his young career in Lukasz Rajewski (7-3) and he passed in commendable fashion. It was a grueling fight that was very close, as evident by the judges decision. Both Salahdine and Rajewski scored takedowns in the fight and landed on the feet. The fight ended with Salahdine chasing a submission.

Gracjan Szadzinski def. Maciej Kazieczko via KO, round 1, 4:59.
Szadzinski moves to 7-2 hands Kazieczko (3-1) the first loss of his career with a thumping KO moments before the final bell of the first round. It was a slugging contest with hard shots landed throughout by both fighters. What a way to kick-off KSW 41!
