The Polish Eagle Is Back At KSW 47

A fight with a lot on the line will kick-off the upcoming KSW 47 card on March 23 and Dublin based Pawel Polityla (3-1) faces David Gralka (6-2) in the KSW bantamweight division.

Politylo lost is pro debut at KSW 40 in Dublin after stepping up as a late replacement to fight Antun Racic - a fighter who had 28 pro fights & is now on a three fight win streak in KSW - on one days notice. The Fantom MMA Gym fighter pushed Racic the distance but ultimately lost on points. In 2018 he bounced back with three impressive wins over some of Ireland’s most promising fighters.

Now he returns to his native Poland faces dangerous submission fighter Dawid Gralka at the Atlas Arena in Lodz, Poland. Gralka also lost his KSW debut against Sebastian Przybysz at KSW 44 last summer and will be looking to bounce back and register his first win in the KSW arena.

Speaking to KSWMMA.com, Politylo said he learned a lot from his first fight in KSW and will do everything he can to win at KSW 47.

"It was an amazing feeling to debut in a huge federation like KSW," said Politylo. "It was pleasure for me and I really appreciate the presidents of KSW that they gave me a chance to fight that night. I’m really glad I could face an experienced fighter like Racic in my debut but I guarantee if I had more time to prepare, I could do better. Since KSW 40 I’ve training harder, I’ve got more experience in MMA and I feel like better fighter."

Now I’m so excited I’m back in KSW and fighting at KSW 47. The event is in Poland, I’m living in Ireland, so ’The Polish Eagle’ is coming back to home to fight. I can’t wait! I am going do everything to win this, so I guarantee to make this an entertaining fight. Gralka and myself are in the same situation in KSW, we’ve both lost one, so there is a lot riding on this fight and for sure it is going to be really exciting."

KSW 47 will be headlined by a Champ vs. Champ KSW Superfight as heavyweight champ Phil De Fries (16-6) defends his title against light heavyweight champion Tomasz Narkun (16-2) and the card will also feature Five Time World’s Strongest Man Mariusz Pudzianowski (12-6) vs. Olympic Gold Medalist Powerlifter Szymon Kolecki (6-1) and a clash between former welterweight champions Borys Mankowski (19-7-1) vs. Dricus Du Plessis (12-2).
