KSW 71: Mankowski vs. Torres Preview
Two former KSW champions clash in an unlikely bout this Saturday at KSW 71 as former welterweight king Borys Mankowski (22-9-1) meets former KSW featherweight champ Daniel Torres (13-5).
This exciting match-up will take place in the KSW lightweight division. Mankowski dropped back down to lightweight in 2020 after a legendary run at welterweight that saw his defend the title four times and headline some of the biggest events in KSW history.
Torres is the underdog in this bout but the Brazilian-Austrian fighter is no stranger to causing upsets. At KSW 58 shocked the world with a big upset victory over Salahdine Parnasse to lift the 145 lb title. Weight cutting issues in their rematch has lead to Torres stepping up to lightweight and he has an immediate change to make huge impact in the division.
