An explosive welterweight contest between former champ Maciej Jewtuszko (12-3) and former title challenger David Zawada (14-3) has just been added to the KSW 40 card in Dublin’s 3Arena on October 22nd.
 
This is a massive fight for the KSW welterweight division, one which will pit the veteran vs. hungry young gun and two true finishers on the European scene.
 
A fan favorite for his finishes, Jewtuszko made his promotional debut at KSW 17 in 2011, after stints in the WEC and UFC. Over the years he registered exciting stoppage victories over the likes of Anthony Njokuani, Dean Amasinger, and Artur Sowinski. With seven knockouts and five submission wins under his belt, “Irokez” boast a 100% finish ratio.
 
Zawada rivals Jewtuszko with finishes, however. The German has scored 13 of his 14 wins via stoppage, 12 by way of KO/TKO. And he comes into this contest off the back of three straight knockout victories, including stopping highly rated Swede Andreas Stahl in the first round last time out.
 
The 27-year-old made his KSW debut in 2014 when he came into the promotion to challenge current champ Borys Mankowski for the welterweight title. His last time in the KSW cage came at KSW 37 where he became the first man to finish Robert Radomski by strikes.
