Former two-time KSW middleweight title contender and author of some of the best fights in KSW history Jay Silva (9-9, 6 KO, 2 Sub) squares off against Piotr Strus (9-3-1, 4 KO) in the main card bout of KSW 29 on December 6^th in Kraków. It will be the most important fight in young career of 26-year-old Pole.
 
Strus’ KSW 29 original opponent Abu Azaitar suffered a hand injury that forced him to withdraw from the star-studded card. KSW owners Martin Lewandowski and Maciej Kawulski in agreement with Strus’ manager, decided to bolster the middleweight bout with a higher ranked opponent. The Warsaw-based fighter receives a unique chance to raise his ranking in the 84-kilograms division:
 
- Facing Silva, who fought Michał Materla three times is a great opportunity for me – Strus assesses. Jay is definitely a more demanding opponent than Azaitar, but a victory over a such renowned competitor may significantly accelerate my career. I have never been so close to the KSW title.
 
Piotr Strus vs. Jay Silva middleweight bout will be a part of seven-fight KSW 29 card on December 6^th in Kraków. The three headliners will feature the best MMA fighter in Poland Mamed Khalidov, the world’s strongest MMA fighter Mariusz Pudzianowski going up against judo Olympic champion Paweł Nastula and KSW welterweight champion Borys Mańkowski.
