Not many people know that many familiar faces attended the previous camps, where they took their first steps towards professional MMA career and even participation in the biggest KSW events. The top Polish heavyweight and recent KSW signee Michał Andryszak took part in one of the camps, along with fellow heavyweight Kamil Waluś, who also won the first KSW Amateur Cup. The list of former participants includes Weronika Zygmunt, the Arrachion MMA lightweight prospect Paweł Kiełek, as well as three-time KSW Amateur Cup winner and Brazilian jiu-jitsu talent Tomasz Matusewicz.

What do KSW Camps’ participants think about them? Is it worth it to take part in the Camp? Here is what some former participants told us about it.

Zuzanna Rurarz from Warsaw

- I have good memories from the Camp, even though it was my first real contact with mixed martial arts. The Camp was oriented on exhausting physical effort, but also had pleasant time for having rest and socializing with other participants. I can recommended it to anyone who is interested in combat sports, as you get to know the basics of this incredible sport, as well as meet many interesting people, including Polish MMA stars.

- I had a pleasure to participate in four camps organized by KSW Federation and thanks to that I was able to meet and train with Marcin Różalski, Borys Mańkowski, Mamed Khalidov, Krzysztof Soszyński to name a few. I was really able to get in extraordinary shape in the fantastic environment prepared by the organizers. The great atmosphere of the Camps is also worth-mentioning. I already know I’ll also come to the upcoming one in July. If anyone asks I can only recommend the KSW Camps.

- KSW Camp was an unforgettable experience for me. A great team, awesome people and obviously hard trainings. I had a pleasure to learn from some of the coaches and fighters in Poland, who occurred to be fantastic friends outside of the gym. I can honestly recommend KSW Camps to everyone, no matter if you are a novice in MMA or a pro.

- While I was buying tickets for KSW 23 in Gdańsk trough KSW website, I noticed the advertisement for the KSW Camp. I’ve already seen some videos from the previous camps and I like idea of training with some of the best coaches and fighters in Poland. I’ve heard before about Piotr Jeleniewski and Marcin Różalski, but when the news broke that they will be joined by Krzysztof Soszyński, I immediately sent my application. The 10^th KSW Camp was really well-organized, everyone could find something for themselves and nobody complained to be bored. The localizations, training facilities and especially the coaches were top-notch. I recommend such a trip to every combat sports aficionado!

- I attended four KSW Camps, one winter and three summer ones. The first one was in Jakubowo and I immediately realized it’s a great fit for me. It’s a perfect opportunity to broaden your knowledge on mixed martial arts and get to know new people who as passionate about the sport as you. My other commitments currently limit my ability to make such trips, but once I find some time I’ll definitely visit another KSW camp.
