Free Fight: Michal Andryszak vs. Fernando Rodrigues Jr.
At KSW 43 on April 14 the future of the KSW heavyweight division will be decided when Michal Andryszak (20-6) and Phil De Fries (14-6) battle it out for the vacant heavyweight title.

Andryszak comes into this fight with a fierce reputation of finishing opponents off early in the first round, in total he has 19 first round finishes. The 25-year-old returned to the promotion last year after almost three years away. His first victim was veteran fighter Michal Kita and Andryszak submitted him just over a minute into the first round at KSW 39 in front of 57.766 people at the National Stadium in Warsaw.
At KSW 41 this past November he faced former champ Fernando Rodrigues Jr. in a fight that would determine who would challenge for the vacant title next. As expected it was a short but explosive affair and you can relive this fight now;
KSW 43 takes place April 14 from the breathtaking and historic Hala Stulecia venue, built over 100 years ago. Olympic medalist Damian Janikowski (2-0) will main event his first KSW and in his hometown against former BAMMA & EFC middleweight champ Yannick Bahati (8-3). The future of the heavyweight division will be decided in the co-main event as Michal Andryszak (20-6) will battle Phil De Fries (14-6) for the vacant KSW heavyweight title and two of the top prospects in MMA today will finally meet as Roberto Soldic (13-2) defends his recently acquired welterweight title against two-weight EFC champion Dricus Du Plessis (11-1).
