Former international heavyweight boxing champion turned MMA fighter Izu Ugonoh (1-0) will now face Marek Samociuk (2-1) at KSW 60 after original opponent Ugur Ozkaplan.

After a successful boxing career that saw him win WBA, IBF, & WBO international boxing titles, Ugonoh made his highly anticipated MMA debut at KSW 54 with a TKO win over Quentin Domingos. Now the 34-year-old is set for his sophomore appearance in MMA and in KSW and he faces a tough challenge.

Samociuk will make his KSW debut and immediately has the opportunity to have the highest profile win of his career. The brawler is a former Polish bare-knuckle MMA tournament champion and is coming into this contest following a win over respected veteran Tomasz Janiszewski earlier this month.

A Champion vs. Champion Superfight will headline KSW 60 on April 24th as heavyweight king Phil De Fries (19-6) puts his crown on the line once again against light heavyweight champion Tomasz Narkun (18-3) and KSW lightweight champion Marian Ziolkwoski (22-8-1) defends his title for the first time against KO artist Maciej Kazieczko (7-1) in what should be an explosive co-main event.
