Jan Blachowicz wins his international debut
We received excellent news from Russian city Cheboksary. KSW Team fighter Jan Blachowicz submitted experienced Russian Nikolai Onikienko with a second round rear-naked choke.
Jan’s fight at the World Absolute Fight Championship event was his third this year and third victorious! – It’s my first international win. The fight was really tough, but I’m satisfied with the result. In the second round Onikienko made a mistake, I took his back and applied a finishing choke – Blachowicz said after the fight.
Now Cieszyn born fighter will take some time off for short holidays. In July he’ll be one of the coaches at the KSW Camp and simultaneously start his preparations for the most important fight of his career against Daniel Tabera at KSW 14. We believe that Janek will best the Spanish gladiator and his victory will seal his spot of the best light heavyweight in Europe.
