It will be the sole KSW Federation world title bout at the May 12th’s KSW 19 show in Łódź’s Atlas Arena. In this spectacular middleweight contest Michał Materla and Jay Silva will challenge for the prestigious KSW gold.

Michał Materla is a very successful grappler and the KSW 6 tournament champion. He is also ranked number five in the European middleweight rankinga. 2011 was his comeback year from severe injuries. In the span of twelve months Michał decisively beat UFC veteran Matt Horwich, always crafty Englishman James Zikic and Frenchman Gregory Babene. Now the Berserkers Team Szczecin product will finally get his chance to fight for the championship title. – I’ll will win this belt for all of you – Polish standout promises.

Jay Silva resides in USA, but he was born in Angola. He is the veteran of both UFC and Bellator organizations, where he competed against such famous fighters as Hector Lombard and Chris Leben.
Silva trains out of California’s Reign MMA. He is one hundred eight centimeters tall and weighs eighty-three kilograms. Striking is his favorite area of combat and most of his wins come by way of KO or TKO. – I know that KSW Federation is one of the strongest in Europe.
