Karolina Owczarz returns at KSW 47

A year after her emphatic debut, Karolina Owczarz (1-0) will return to compete in KSW once again in front of her hometown of Lodz, Poland on March 23 at KSW 47 in the impressive Atlas Arena.
At KSW 42 she submitted Paulina Raszewska in front of a loud cheering crowd just a minute into the first round to register her first pro win in MMA after transitioning to the sport full-time the year prior.

At just 25-years-old Owczarz already has a storied career in combat sports. She was a national junior boxing champion and then went on to be an undefeated pro boxer with a record of 4-0. Before her pro boxing debut she appeared on the Mexican TV reality show ’Reto de Campeonas’, which highlighted young boxing prospects. After retiring from boxing Owczarz then became a journalist for national TV channel Polsat Sport but stepped away from this role last year to focus on MMA training.

Owczarz’s opponent will be announced in the coming days. KSW 47 already has two massive fights announced as Five-Time World’s Strongest man Mariusz Pudzianowski (12-6) faces Olympic Gold medalist powerlifter Szymon Kolecki (6-1) while former welterweight champ Borys Mankowski (19-7-1) finally returns to face the P4P top South African fighter Dricus Du Plessis (12-2).

KSW 47 will be live around the world March 23 via online PPV on www.KSWTV.com.
