KSW Federation announces three headliners of its last show of 2014 – KSW 29 scheduled for late November / early December. The best MMA fighter in Poland Mamed Khalidov (29-4-2, 11 KO, 17 Sub) as well as the KSW middleweight champion Michał Materla (20-4, 2 KO, 12 Sub) will face yet-to-be-announced opponents in separate middleweight bouts.

In the first announced headliner of the event, former five-time world’s strongest man Mariusz Pudzianowski (7-3, 2 KO, 2 Sub) will battle judo Olympic gold medalist and Polish mixed martial arts pioneer Paweł Nastula (5-5, 3 KO, 2 Sub) in the long-awaited heavyweight clash.

The fight that KSW tried to sign many times before will eventually materialize at the final 2014 show of the Europe’s leading promotion. Facing the legendary judoka, Pudzianowski will look to continue his streak of victories after earning decisions over UFC veterans Sean McCorkle and Oli Thompson. One of the most recognizable athletes in Poland made a full switch to MMA five years ago, ammasing a professional record of seven victories in eleven outings.

In his most recent bout, Nastula challenged Karol Bedorf for the KSW heavyweight crown. The only Polish fighter who competed in Pride was defeated by the current champion via second-round TKO and will look to rebound from a loss against his long-time foe. The Warsaw-born fighter used to call out Pudzianowski even before his 2013 debut in KSW.

The exact date and the venue for KSW 29 will be announced in the upcoming days.
