More than two hundred kilograms in the ring means it’s time for heavyweights. Two fights in the weight category are scheduled for the fifteenth Martial Arts Confrontation, March 19th in Warsaw. In one of them Polish grappler Karol Bedorf will face Spanish submission specialist Rogent Lloret.

The Spaniard is a BJJ black belt, 2009 BJJ European champion and one of the top heavyweights in Europe. He’s the current Strength & Honor champion and he participated in Bellator heavyweight tournament. At thirty-one years old Lloret has twelve fights under his belt, with nine victories, two defeats and one draw. He is one hundred ninety-two centimeters tall, weighs one hundred and four kilograms and fights out of MMA Barcelona gym.

Karol Bedorf will challenge Barcelona native in his KSW return. The popular Coco didn’t compete in MMA for more than a year and is hungry for a spectacular come back. Realizing the quality of his opponent he spent parts of his training camp in one of the best gyms in the world Holland’s Golden Glory. In Poland he trains in Berserkers Team and Top Team Szczecin. It will be Bedorf’s eighth MMA bout, so far he has compiled a record of 6-1.
The Pole has been recently recognized by MMA Planet website as a potential UFC fighter down the line in the prospects ranking. – I’m actually really flattered. I hope that some my dream will come true. I’d be able to fully commit to MMA then – Bedorf commented on his possible overseas MMA future.

Both fighters already tested their grappling skills against each other, when they battled for gold at 2008 European BJJ championships.
