KSW Federation announced today the final fight for the upcoming KSW17 – Revenge show on November 26th in Lodz’s Atlas Arena. One of the best middleweights in the world Mamed Khalidov will square off against former WEC champion and a Pride veteran Paulo Filho.

The Brazilian fighter nicknamed Ely began his MMA career in 2000. Four years later he signed with Pride with an undefeated 7-0 record , where he scored quality victories over Murilo Rua, Ryuta Sakurai and Kazuo Misaki. In 2007 he was widely regarded as the best middleweight in the world what prompted his signing with Zuffa owned WEC organization. He won two out of his three US fights there and captured the WEC title by beating Joe Doerksen and Chael Sonnen. His current MMA record stands: twenty-two wins, four losses and two draws.
Paulo Filho was born on May 24th in 1978 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. He trains out of the renowned Brazilian Top Team academy. His outstanding Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu prowess is the biggest strength of his MMA game as he finished ten out of his twenty-two wins with a submission hold.

Khalidov versus Filho clash is a guaranteed barnburner. A world-class submission grappler will face the always exciting to watch Pole. Will Khalidov be able to avoid the ground and finish his foe with heavy punches and kicks? We’ll see at KSW 17 on November 26th in Lodz.
