KSW 17: The Fight for Poland’s Welterweight Mantle
KSW Federation announced today the first for fight for November’s KSW17 event. In the under seventy-seven kilograms clash, KSW Extra – President Cup tournament winner Aslambek Saidov will battle former M-1 Global champion Rafal Moks
Mamed Khalidov’s cousin, Saidov is universally ranked number one at welterweight in Poland. He lives in Olsztyn, where he trains in Arrachion MMA under Szymon Bonkowski and Pawel Derlacz. He won ten out of his twelve professional outings. Aslambek is a physically gifted athlete with well-rounded mixed martial arts game. His crisp boxing and solid grappling are his trademark skills.
Rafal Moks, nicknamed “Kulturysta” is legendary BJJ coach Piotr Baginski’s protégé and number two ranked welterweight in Poland. Moks fights out of renowned Berserkers Team Szczecin, where he trains with some of the best mixed martial artists in Poland i.e. Michal Materla, Daniel Dowda or Maciej Jewtuszko.
Rafal has ten MMA bouts under his belt with six victories and two defeats. His biggest career achievement was winning the M-1 Global middleweight belt last year. However, the Szczecin fighter has dropped a division since then and now competes in seventy-seven kilograms weight category.
