One of the most decorated Polish kickboxers Łukasz Rajewski signed with KSW and will make his debut on the May 17th’s event in Gdańsk/Sopot’s Ergo Arena. In the opening bout of KSW 27 – Cage Time 25-year-old will battle another newcomer Łukasz Chlewicki in the lightweight division.

Rajewski is a former WKA kickboxing World champion and European champion, 2004 Sanda World championship gold medalist and holder of many prestigious titles. Born in Płock, he trained under tutelage of his father Robert Rajewski and along his three brothers and a sister who all compete both in kickboxing and mixed martial arts.

After moving to Poznań a few years ago, Rajewski decided to pursue career in MMA. He joined the renowned Ankos Zapasy academy, where he currently works as a striking coach. In the last three months he competed in his first two professional MMA bouts, winning both of them by stoppage. His vicious and versatile striking with solid takedown defense turned heads of anyone who closely watches the Polish MMA scene.

With Rajewski being a dangerous stand-up fighter and Chlewicki boasting an extensive background in judo, this should be a classic striker versus grappler match-up.
