KSW 28: Materla dominates and stops Bezerra in Szczecin
KSW middlweight champion Michał Materla earned a TKO victory over Jorge Luis Bezerra in the Szczecin’s KSW 28 co-main event. In his first ever bout in front of his hometowin audience, the Berserkers Team product was superior to the Brazilian in every aspect of the game. After defending the takedown, Materla landed on top where he worked solid ground and pound to dominate the first stanza. In the second round "Michelan", for a brief moment, too the Polish MMA star to the mat and even moved to mount, but "Magic" was able to get back to his feet and hurt his foe with punches. Once turtled on the ground, Bezerra received a flurry of shots to the side of the head, what prompted the referee to halt the bout.
