KSW 49 This Saturday!!
This Saturday, May 18th KSW returns to the incredible Ergo Arena in Gdansk, Poland with a mega KSW 49 fight card filled with some of the biggest KSW stars and most well-known names in the world of MMA, and it is live around the world on www.KSWTV.com.
A highly anticipated rematch between Michal Materla (27-6) and Scott Askham (17-4) will serve as the main event of the evening. Askham scored an early stoppage win in their first meeting but now they will face each other for the vacant middleweight title after both men won their semi-finals in the middleweight tournament.
The co-main event will see Roberto Soldic (15-3) defend his welterweight title against the undefeated Krystian Kaszubowski (7-0). Soldic is regarded as one of the top prospects in the world and Kaszubowski emerged last year as one of the most exciting fighters in KSW after winning his first two fights in the promotion via first round finishes.
The well-travelled Damian Grabowski (21-5) will finally make his KSW debut and will face former heavyweight champ Karol Bedorf (15-4), bodybuilding & social media stars Erko Jun (2-0) & Akop Szostak (3-2) will collide in a fight that will could break Instagram, and TUF winner Norman Parke (26-6-1) will square off against former champ Artur Sowinski (19-10).
Elsewhere on the card we have Thiago Silva (21-9) vs. European legend Martin Zawada (28-15-1), heavyweight destroyer Michal Andryszak (20-7) vs. UFC vet Luis Henrique (11-5), a rematch between Pawel Politylo (4-1) and Antun Racic (22-8-1), and Leszek Krakowski (13-1) welcomes the explosive Michael Dubois (10-6) to KSW.
