KSW 53 Results
KSW 53 took place Saturday, July 11 from a studio in Warsaw, Poland and it was the first event back since the Covid-19 pandemic hit the world.
Mateusz Gamrot (16-0) remained undefeated as he picked apart his rival Norman Parke (28-7-1) over three rounds in an almost flawless performance. The referee was forced to step in and called upon the cageside doctor who declared that Parke could not continue.
In the co-main event it was Borys Mankowski (21-8-1) who walked away with the decision in a close three round gruelling war with Marcin Wrzosek (14-7).
Elsewhere on the card Tomasz Drwal (22-5-1) made a succesful return to action after five years away, Andrezej Grzebyk (17-3) KO'd Tomasz Jakubiec (10-3) and made a statement on his KSW debut, and former champion Artur Sowinski (21-11) scored a third straight first round victory.
