KSW 79 took place last night, February 25, from the Home Credit Arena in Liberec in what was KSW's debut in the Czech Republic. 

The main event saw record-breaking champion Phil De Fries (23-6) continue his incredible run with a first round demolition of Todd Duffee (9-4) to secure his eight title defense and to avenge his loss to the American from ten years ago. 

Hometown hero Dominik Humburger (6-0) remained undefeated with a unanimous decision win over Brazil's Jorge Bueno (8-2) in the co-main event. Escorted to the cage by his army squad & cheered on by the crowd, Humburger secured a hard-fought victory to secure the highest profile win of his young career. 

Elsewhere on the card, former kickboxing rivals Arek Wrzosek (2-0) & Tomas Mozny (1-2) competed in a barnburner of a heavyweight contest, Michal Kita (22-15-1) won the battle of the veterans with a TKO win over Daniel Omielanczuk (26-14), the 'HooiBooi' Brian Hooi (20-9) got back in the win column with another impressive KO victory, and French internet star Ramzan Jembiev (4-1) lit the internet on fire with his headkick knockout win.
