Michal Materla versus Gregory Babene clash completes the fifteenth Martial Arts Confrontation fight card.

The Frenchman will fight for KSW Federation for the second time. In October 2010 he met Antoni Chmielewski in the KSW Fight Club cage. Babene lives in Paris and trains in renowned Snake Team. The popular Blade has twenty-one fights under his belt, with twelve of them recorded as victories. He has a background in muay thai, which makes him a very dangerous striker who finishes most of his fights standing-up. At KSW 15 Babane will be cornered by his mentor and UFC fighter Cyrille “Snake” Diabate.

KSW 6 tournament champion Michal Materla returns after a two-year hiatus from the sport. The popular Cipao was originally scheduled to face Krzysztof Kulak for the KSW middleweight title. Unfortunately Model had to withdraw from the fight due to spine injury.
Materla is one of the best pure grapplers in Poland. He’s a former Polish BJJ champion, submission fighting champion and ADCC 2007 veteran. He trains in his gym Top Team Szczecin as well as Berserkers Team under Polish BJJ legend Piotr Baginski. His MMA record stands: thirteen victories and only three defeats. KSW 15 bout will be his sixth under KSW banner.

The Poland versus France confrontation is a classic grappler versus striker match-up. Two completely different fighters, two completely different styles and characters, that’s what most intriguing about this clash.
