On May 10th, KSW shall return to France for the third time in the history of the organization. XTB KSW 106 will take place in Lyon at LDLC Arena and it shall feature the return of Salahdine Parnasse (20-2, 5 KO, 7 Sub), the biggest star of French MMA. The double champion shall attempt to defend his lightweight belt against Marcin Held (30-10, 4 KO, 16 Sub), a true ground game virtuoso and the number three of the division. This fight will be one of the few Polish/French confrontations of XTB KSW 106. This event promises to be a true cup of nations!

For the third time in history, Salahdine Parnasse shall attempt to defend his lightweight belt in front on his home crowd. At the first KSW event in France, he knocked out Valeriu Mircea while at the second one he put Wilson Varela on the canvass. The spectacular champion known as “The Kylian Mbappe of French MMA” is one of the biggest stars of European MMA and a true phenomenon in the world of mixed martial arts. So far, Parnasse fought 22 times, securing 20 victories and finishing twelve of his opponents. The 27-year-old has been fighting for KSW since 2017 and he remains undefeated in the lightweight division.

Marcin Held is one of the most experienced fighters in Polish MMA. For many years, he’s been competing for the biggest organizations in the world like UFC, Bellator or Professional Fighters League. He debuted for the leader of European MMA in 2023 and he’s currently riding a two win streak. His last bout took place at XTB KSW 101 and it concluded with a spectacular submission on Davy Gallon, for which Held was rewarded with a bonus. The fighter from Tychy is a BJJ black belt and he specializes in submitting his opponents. Overall, Marcin managed to finish 20 of his opponents, submitting 16 of them. 12 of his finishes took place in the first round. He has 40 fights under his belt and he won 30 of them.
