Two very experienced fighters square off at the upcoming KSW19 event. Polish fans are already familiar with these two warriors. On May 12th in Łódź’s Atlas Arena Antoni Chmielewski will battle it out against American Matt Horwich. The fight will be contested in the under eighty-four kilograms weight class.

Antoni Chmielewski is one of the Polish MMA icons. He made the KSW history as the first two-time tournament champion in the early days of the organization. In his MMA career he was victorious in twenty-two out his thirty professional fights.
A year ago Antoni suffered a serious knee injury. However, in only six months he was able to come back to fighting and defeat solid Englishman James Zikic. At KSW 19 he is set for another tough fight. When he enters the ring on May 12th, Chmielewski will also equal Łukasz Jurkowski’s record of the most KSW fights in history.

It will be Horwich’s second appearance in KSW. Hollywood-based fighter had a very competitive bout against Michał Materla at KSW 17 – Revenge, that is why he was invited to compete in front of the Polish audience again. Nicknamed “Suave”, he is a very experienced mixed martial artist, with over forty fight under his belt. In his ten-year career Horwich fought such renowned fighters as Krzysztof Soszynski, Thales Leites and others. He is the former IFL and Powerhouse World Promotions middleweight champion. – I’m very happy to fight again for KSW in Poland – the American said.

With their main expertise on the ground, these two will definitely leave it all in the ring to outgrapple their foes. Only one of them will claim the victory at KSW 19, on May 12th in Atlas Arena Łódź.
