We begin to unveil the fights at the upcoming KSW24 show on September 28th in Łódź’s Atlas Arena. In the spectacular clash in the featherweight division, super talented Anzor Azhiev will lock horns with another KSW regular Artur Sowiński.

It will Chechen’s fourth bout for the biggest promotion in Europe. The number one ranked featherweight in Poland has yet to taste the defeat in his professional career. In KSW, he holds victories over Cengiz Dana, Paul Reed and Pavel Svoboda.

Azhiev is currently in Cracow and could not be reached, but we were able to talk to his manager and head coach Piotr Jeleniewski from PJ Promotion Group: - Artur is a solid experienced competitor. He also defeated Cengiz Dana and Paul Reed. He is well-rounded, dynamic and unorthodox. I expect a thrilling bout, that will show the beauty of mixed martial arts and will fit well in this star-studded fight card. Sowiński is even more experienced in the KSW ring, but in his six previous outings he always fought at lightweight. The clash against Azhiev will be his professional debut at featherweight, a weight class he has not competed in since his amateur tenure. Sowiński also battled Dana and Reed in KSW and beat both of them.

We were able to briefly talk to Sowiński, here is what we heard from Tomasz Bronder’s understudy: - Anzor is a good fighter with dynamic wrestling. Like everyone he has weaker sides, but I won’t talk about the, I’ll exploit them in the ring on September 28^th. Currently I walk around 78 kilograms and I need to shed a few kilograms, but no worries, I’ll do it. I plan to hold my preparations in Silesian Cage Club, just like before all of my fights – the popular “Kornik” says.
