KSW light heavyweight champion Ibragim Chuzhigaev (17-5) will put his title on the line against devastating KO machine Bogdan Gnidko (10-0) in the co-main event of XTB KSW 85 on August 19.

Chuzhigaev won the title from former longtime champ Tomasz Narkun at KSW 66 and has since defended the title against Ivan Erslan at KSW 77 this past December. Both fights went the distance as the Turkish fighter showcased his incredible fight IQ throughout the two contests. 

He will need to firing on all cylinders on August 19, however, as Gnidko is one fighter who does not mess around. The undefeated Ukranian has steamrolled his way through all of his opponents with ten straight first round stoppages. 

He joined KSW last year and in his debut he scored the quickest KO in KSW history with a five second demolition of Damian Piwowarczyk. He followed this up with another two quick KO victories over Madalin Pirvulescu and Rafal Kijanczuk to earn his spot as the number one contender in the light heavyweight division.
