Marian 'Golden Boy' Ziolkowski (22-8-1) will make the first defense of his newly acquired KSW lightweight championship at KSW 60 on April 24th when he meets challenger Maciej Kazieczko (7-1) live on www.KSWTV.com.

Zolkowski captured the title at KSW 57 this past December with a masterclass performance that ended with a TKO win over Roman Szymanski. The 30-year-old has long been one of Poland's most highly regarded fighters and his career tally of eighteen stoppage victories has made him one of the most dangerous in the lightweight division. 

After finally realising his dream of being KSW champion, Ziolkowski plans on holding onto the title for a long time to come. However, Maciej Kazieczko has his own desire to lift the championship. The KO artist has become one of the most devastating finishers seen in KSW and with four straight wins in the division he has earned his spot as No. 1 contender. 

A Champion vs. Champion Superfight will headline KSW 60 on April 24th as heavyweight king Phil De Fries (19-6) puts his crown on the line once again against light heavyweight champion Tomasz Narkun (18-3) and international boxing champion Izu Ugonoh (1-0) makes his sophomore appearance in KSW taking on undefeated German giant Ugur Ozkaplan.
