Mamed Khalidov gets new opponent at KSW 17 - Revenge
KSW Federation would like to announce that Jesse Taylor will replace Brazilian Paulo Filho in the KSW 17 – Revenge main event against Mamed Khalidov.
- We’ve received alarming news about Filho’s health condition and we decided not to use the Brazilian on our show. Filho was supposed to participate in the headlining fight on KSW 17 card and we couldn’t risk him not showing up for the fight against Khalidov – KSW Federation owners explain.
The best middleweight in Europe will now square off against the experienced wrestler Jese “JT Money” Taylor. The American has fought for the best MMA organizations in the world including UFC, Strikeforce and Dream. He has thirty-one MMA bouts under his belt with twenty-four victories and only seven defeats. Taylor competed against some of the best fighters in the world such as Tom Watson, Denis Kang and Hector Lombard. – Jesse Taylor was informed about the possibility of replacing Filho a few weeks ago, so he is ready to face Khalidov on short notice – KSW promoters say.
