We are extremely happy to announce that KSW Team fighter Mamed Khalidov will fight once more time before the year is closed. The Chechen native is set to compete at the upcoming Sengoku: Soul of Fight festival in Tokio. It will be the third contracted fight in the Japanese organization for the KSW World Champion. After two exciting fights against Jorge Santiago Mamed will now face an experienced Japanese Yuki Sasaki.
A four years elder to Mamed, Sasaki is a true mixed martial arts veteran. He fought for the best organizations all over the world including Pride and UFC. He has forty-one fights under his belt with twenty-two victories, eighteen defeats and one draw. He states that karate and muay thai are his background, but he rarely wins using his strikes. Fourteen submission wins are the best proof of that. He is also not that easy to finish, eleven out of eighteen of his losses went to a decision.
However, we all hope that Khalidov’s explosive style will secure him an easy and highlight reel finish.
