KSW Federation announced today another stellar match-up for the November’s KSW17 – Revenge show. One of the best middleweights in Poland Michal Materla will face the experienced American Matt Horwich.

It will be the third bout for the Szczecin born fighter, since his return from a severe knee injury. Initially Materla was scheduled to rematch Krzysztof Kulak for the KSW title, however Kulak is still recovering from the spine surgery he underwent earlier this year.
“Cipao”, which is Materla’s nickname, is one of the best European grapplers competing in MMA. He has eighteen wins to hi record with fifteen wins and only three losses. He’s another standout from Berserkers Team stable, where he trains along with other KSW 17 participants Rafal Moks and Maciej Jewtuszko. In 2006 Michal claimed the KSW 6 tournament championship.

The Pole has signed to face the very experienced US MMA veteran Matt Horwich. Although the Hollywood resident is nicknamed “Suave”, his fighting style is completely opposite. His MMA record stands: twenty-six (he beat i.e Krzysztof Soszynski, Thales Leites), nineteen losses and one draw. Horwich is a former IFL and Powerhouse World Promotions champion. The fight should be an intriguing grappling battle. However, they are also both very capable boxers. Who will earn the victory in the white KSW ring? The Experienced American or the Pole, who faces his toughest career test? We will see on November 26th in Lodz.
