"My aim is to try and make him uglier than he already is" – interview with James Thompson
The excitement before the KSW 17 – Revenge are through the roof while the fighters talk trash. This interview with James Thompson is the best proof of that. The Englishman once again provokes his foe with his humorous comments. You can check out them below:
You are set to rematch Mariusz Pudzianiowski and you’ll have to look at his face once again. What can you say about this fight?
- I am looking forward to fighting Mariusz again. My aim is to try and make him uglier than he already is. It will be a challenge to make him uglier, probably a harder challenge than winning the fight itself. Where do you train for this fight. I’m hearing that you’re in much better shape than the last time.
- I am training at Olympians MMA and I have had a lot more time to prepare so I will be in better shape than last time. Do you think Pudzianowski is able to surprise you with anything?
- Not really, I don't I will be surprised by anything. I have head he has been training hard and has lost ten kilos, so that means his cardio should be better, but all that means is I can beat him up for longer. Are you confident you’ll be victorious in the rematch?
- Yes of course I am. Mariusz is training hard and taking it seriously, but I know I have lots more experience than he does and I'm confident that I will beat him again. What would you do if you lose to Mariusz?
- Find out where he lives and murder him in sleep. Seriously, I don't think about losing the fight, only about winning it. You probably saw Mariusz’s video. Would you comment on his statement that you’ll look worse after your second confrontation than after the first one?
- I did a video in response to his. You’ve received a gift from Mariusz at the KSW 16 pre-fight press conference. Do you plan to give him something in return?
- No, I'll just concentrate on receiving the gifts. I have got something for Mariusz though. It's five fingers curled into a ball that will repeatedly aimed at his head with force. Do you have a message to Polish MMA fans who are looking forward to this rematch?
- I enjoyed fighting in Poland and I'm looking forward to coming back for this fight. I enjoyed Poland as a country very much and would like to thank all the Polish fans that support me in my quest to try and make Mariusz even more ugly than he is already.
