Narkun defends title against Mysiala at KSW 50

Tomasz Narkun (16-3) will defend his KSW light heavyweight title against London-based Polish fighter Przemyslaw Mysiala (23-9-1) at KSW 50 at The SSE Arena, Wembley on September 14th.
Narkun, who last defend his crown at the historic KSW 39 stadium event, took a short break from the light heavyweight division and sought out a number of high profile superfights. In 2018 he faced the legendary Mamed Khalidov in a pair of instant classic fights and become the first man to ever defeat Khalidov in the KSW arena. Then Narkun sought out to capture the heavyweight title and stepped up to face Phil De Fries at KSW 47. Despite the huge size disadvantage, Narkun pushed De Fries the full five round and after a grueling contest he lost out on the judges scorecard. Now the 29-year-old returns to defend his title and attempt to remind everyone why he is widely considered one of the best light heavyweights in Europe.

However, challenging him will be Przemyslaw Mysiala, a fighter who sees this as finally his big opportunity. The veteran has been competing professionally since 2004 and has quietly fought his way through the European scene and competed for the likes of BAMMA, Bellator, and a host of European promotions. After going on a seven-fight undefeated run he then, much like Narkun, stepped up to heavyweight and competed on the TUF 28 show. Now back down at his natural weight class he will attempt to become the new KSW light heavyweight champion.

Tickets for KSW 50 can be bought through AXS.com and Ticketmaster.co.uk and will be available to watch live around the world via online PPV on www.KSWTV.com.
