Patrik Kincl returns at KSW 61
Top Czech Republic middleweight Patrik Kincl (23-9) is set to return for his sophomore appearance in the KSW arena on June 5th at KSW 61 in Gdansk, Poland, when he takes on 'Only One' winner Tomasz Romanowski (13-7).
Kincl won his promotional debut in emphatic fashion with a first round KO win over Polish legend Tomasz Drwal at KSW 57. The 31-year-old put the whole middleweight division on notice with this performance but now he faces KSW's version of Rocky Balboa in Tomasz Romanowski.
Romanowski has been a true underdog story in MMA over the past year. He entered the KSW reality TV show 'Only One' with a 9-7 record and won all three fights on the show to be crowned the unlikely winner and became a new star in Poland. At KSW 55 he then made his full KSW debut and shocked everyone once again with a win over the dangerous Ion Surdu.
An important fight for both Kincl and Romanowski, only one can win and take a step towards title contention.
Five-time world’s strongest man Mariusz Pudzianowski (14-7) vs. KSW 1 tournament winner Lukasz Jurkowski (17-11) will serve as the main event of the evening and KSW 61 will also see the return of the fans. Under government guidelines, the Ergo Arena in Gdansk, Poland, will operate at a 50% capacity.
KSW 61 will be live around the world on www.KSWTV.com and the KSW App available now on iOS & Android!
