Piotr Strus faces Krzysztof Kułak at KSW 21

On Wednesday in the presence of his managers and KSW Federation co-owner Maciej Kawulski young exciting prospect Piotr Strus signed a multi-fight contract with Polish biggest promotion.

 

The talented fighter from Łomianki near Warsaw comes from a kickboxing background. He started his mixed martial arts trainings two years ago in Nastula Fight Club, where he spars with such renowned Polish fighters as Paweł Nastula, Jan Błachowicz and Daniel Omielańczuk. Piotr is also a member of the Polish Sanshou national team and the first Pole to ever win a medal in the world championships in this striking discipline.

 

In 2011 the biggest MMA website in the world Sherdog.com ranked Strus in the top ten of the most promising European fighters. So far he amassed the MMA record of seven wins and only a single loss.

 

The twenty-four-year old fighter will make his KSW debut on December 1st. At KSW21 he will face the former KSW middleweight champion and one of the pioneers of MMA in Poland Krzysztof Kułak. – Krzysztof is a good and experienced fighter. It should be a great battle. I’m not afraid to test my skills against him in any area of MMA. Whether it’s stand-up or on the ground I will deal with him. – Strus promises.

 

Kułak versus Strus clash was signed for three five-minute rounds bout in the middleweight division.
