The tension is growing as XTB KSW 105 draws near, with the welterweight title clash between Adrian Bartosiński (16-1) and Andrzej Grzebyk (22-6) promising fireworks. In what has become one of the most personal rivalries in recent KSW history, Bartosiński takes on the first rematch of his career and returns not just to defend his crown, but to reassert his dominance in a fight laced with unfinished business.
For Grzebyk, the scars of their rivalry could not be forgotten following the first encounter and the challenger has clawed his way back to reclaim top contender status. Now, with the gold on the line and pride at stake, Bartosiński faces a Grzebyk who’s hungry for revenge and redemption. The champion gives credit to the accomplishments of his rival but remains unmoved as Grzebyk stands between him and future goals.
In this exclusive Q&A, we catch up with Adrian Bartosiński to talk title pressure, personal motivation, and what fans can expect when bad blood finally boils over in the cage.

Since becoming champion, you've looked unstoppable. How have you evolved since your first fight with Andrzej?
“I think it’s been three years since my first fight against Andrzej. It’s a long time. I believe that at my age three years is a lot in terms of my progress. I have started traveling to USA where I trained at American Top Team. I think that since our first fight I have become a completely different fighter. I can feel the change within me especially after my last fight. I believe that I have improved a lot even in the last three-four months.”
You have been described as sworn enemies—what's the root of this in your eyes?
“If I remember correctly, the origin was the fact that I wanted to fight Andrzej and he was ducking me a little bit. At the time, we both belonged to the same management group and that’s why some things were not entirely clear. The conflict itself started with him recording a trailer in which he got a bit pumped up, so when they were filming the second part with me, I had already known what he said and so I gave my answer. That’s how it all started.”
Is there pressure defending the belt against a guy you've already defeated, or is it business as usual?
“I don’t feel any pressure at all. I think that Andrzej will try to put his best foot forward and I’ll try to do what I always do. I believe that he’s more motivated to present his skills.”
What do you think of Andrzej’s current win streak - has he impressed you while fighting his way back to a title shot?
“I’ve been watching all his fights because I knew that if he kept on winning, then we would finally get a rematch. I don’t see any major differences in his skills as an athlete, but I think that at his age he’s already very experienced and so today his fight IQ is on a very high level. In my eyes, he improved in this aspect. I don’t think that at this point it would be possible for him to suddenly transform into a different fighter or completely change his style.
“However, I noticed that in two of his fights Andrzej turned the tides in his favor with his wrestling. Andrzej is a striker so if he resorts to wrestling, it’s only when he really has to do it. I would be really happy if he wanted to use wrestling against me.”
Should you win at KSW 105, what could be next for you?
“If I win, then I would gladly face Salahdine Parnasse. It’s an interesting challenge to me and I would like this rematch to go more in my favor so that I could get a finish. I’m also hoping that maybe one day fate would give me a chance to get a rematch against Mamed [Khalidov].”
