For the first time in history two American fighters will clash at the upcoming KSW21 event, on December 1st inWarsaw’s Torwar Arena. In the middleweight bout Jay Silva will face Matt Horwich.

The thirty-year-old Horwich will fight for KSW for the third time. In 2011 he lost via decision to the current KSW middleweight champion Michał Materla, while this May he outlasted Antoni Chmielewski at KSW19. Matt lives in Los Angeles, where he trains with such renowned fighters as Wanderlei Silva, Lyoto Machida and Anderson Silva.

Silva will return toEurope’s greatest promotion after his spectacular championship clash against Michał Materla in May. Although, he fell short in the title bout, the fight will be remembered for many years to come as one of the most dramatic battles in history. Silva’s performance was not only appreciated by the avid KSW fans, but most importantly by the KSW promoters.

Raised in Huntington BeachCalifornia, Jay trains in the famous Reign MMA academy along with the only Pole in the UFC Krzysztof Soszyński.

Horwich vs. Silva showdown should be another classic grappler versus striker match-up. Which Californian will be able to impose his strategy on his foe. KSW21 will answer this question.
