Rafał Haratyk vs. Damian Piwowarczyk (XTB KSW Epic)
On February 24th, 2024, Rafał Haratyk faced Damian Piwowarczyk in the finals of the championship tournament of the light heavyweight division. Their fight was close and extremely exciting. They both endured some tough moments, landed great shots and provided us with a wonderful and exciting spectacle. Haratyk and Piwowarczyk proved they have a lot of heart over the course of three rounds. Their fight ended up going the distance and judges ruled that Rafał Haratyk became the victor and the champion of the light heavyweight division.
Jakub Wikłacz vs. Sebastian Przybysz 5 (KSW 95)
On June 7th, 2024, in the main event of KSW 95 the local here and the bantamweight champion Jakub Wikłacz faced Sebastian Przybysz, the number one of the division. Both sides started with lightning-fast and heavy kicks and punches. Wikłacz tried to pressure his opponent, but Przybysz remained dynamic on his feet. Both sides were throwing some shots with increasing power and remained unrelenting. In the second round, the champion started bleeding due to a cut on his face, but they both kept fighting with incredible pace. Suddenly, Jakub threw a frontal kick and right after he managed to get Przybysz in a guillotine choke to finish him off.
Radosław Paczuski vs. Laid Zerhouni (XTB KSW 98)
On September 14th, 2024, in the main event of XTB KSW 98 in Lubin, Radosław Paczuski, a phenomenal striker ranked as number seven of the middleweight division of KSW, faced Laïd Zerhouni, the number one of the same ranking who managed to get a finish in almost all of his victories. Their bout took only a minute, but it turned out incredibly exciting. Zerhouni charged forward right from the get-go and started to pressure his opponent. The Pole was the first one to land a heavy shot, but Laïd endured this tough moment. Then, both sides engaged in an all-out war in the cage. They both landed powerful shots and both swayed on their feet, but eventually Radosław put his opponent on the canvass and started to punch him on the ground. After a few successful shots the referee decided to stop the fight.
Adam Niedźwiedź vs. Viktor Cervinsky (KSW 99)
On October 19th, in one of the Polish/Czech confrontations, Adam Niedźwiedź returned to KSW to face Viktor Červinský in an incredibly exciting bout in which he was very close to being knocked out. The Polish fighter started the fight by aggressively throwing powerful kickboxing combinations. However, Červinský connected and Adam ended up on the ground. Niedźwiedź quickly recovered and went for a submission, but the fighters ended up back on their feet. Červinský landed another good shot, but the Pole didn’t let him get a finish, took his opponent down, mounted him and secured a triangle choke. The Czech managed to pull through and get up, but as soon as the fight went to the ground again, Niedźwiedź secured another choke and this time Červinský tapped out.
Piotr Kuberski vs. Damian Janikowski (XTB KSW 100)
On November 16th, 2024, we witnessed an exciting match-up between two top middleweights. In this bout, Piotr Kuberski ranked as number two faced Damian Janikowski, the current number three of the division and the former challenger for the belt. The fight turned out incredibly exciting and it transformed into an all-out war. Both gentlemen threw and ate some powerful shots which made them sway on their feet. Janikowski secured some takedowns, but the fighters remained mostly on their feet. Kuberski’s striking proved better and so he managed to knock Janikowski out at the beginning of round two.
