XTB KSW 98 will take place on Saturday, September 14^th in Poland. In the fight of the night, the former world kickboxing champion from Poland shall collide with the champion of Hexagon MMA from France. We will also witness the return of the former boxing champion of WBO.

Fans present at XTB KSW 98 in Lubin shall see a middleweight bout in the main event. The brilliant striker and number seven of KSW middleweight division Radosław Paczuski (6-2, 5 KO) shall face Laïd Zerhouni (13-8 1NC, 4 KO, 8 Sub) ranked as number eight who finished his opponents in almost all the victories of his career. Before fighting in MMA, Paczuski was a kickboxer and his career involved over a hundred amateur bouts and a couple dozen as a pro. Among others, his accolades include world and national championship. Laïd Zerhouni has 22 fights under his belt and he won 13 of them. In his debut for KSW, he secured an instant knockout on Bartosz Fabiński, a UFC veteran, as early as in the 12^th second of the fight.

The co-main event will feature a confrontation between two former challengers for the light heavyweight belt. Damian Piwowarczyk (8-3, 4 KO, 3 Sub), the number one of this division is about to face Marcin Wójcik (19-9, 11 KO, 6 Sub) ranked as number two.

Fans present at XTB KSW 98 shall also witness the return of Krzysztof Głowacki (1-0, 1 KO), the ex-champion of WBO who is about to face the multiple national kickboxing champion Dawid Kasperski (1-0). It’s noteworthy that Krzysztof Głowacki had a wonderful debut in the KSW cage. During XTB KSW Colosseum 2, he knocked out Patryk Tołkaczewski in a spectacular manner. This finish was rewarded with a bonus and the prestigious Herakles award for the best knockout of 2023 in Poland.

The fight card of the upcoming KSW event is going to feature other exciting confrontations between brilliant MMA fighters from Europe and other places. In a light heavyweight bout, the Ukrainian Bohdan Gnidko (10-2, 6 KO, 4 Sub), the former challenger for the championship belt and number three in this division, shall face the talented Dominik Humburger (8-1, 7 KO) from the Czech Republic. We can also expect a confrontation between two former challengers for the bantamweight belt. The Georgian Zuriko Jojua (9-2, 1 KO, 4 Sub), the number three of this division, is about to face Werlesson Martins (18-6, 6 KO, 8 Sub) from Brazil ranked as number six. XTB KSW 98 is also going to feature a rematch between Daniel Skibiński (21-9, 7 KO, 2 Sub) and Leonardo Damiani (12-7-1, 3 KO, 6 Sub) from Italy. Both fighters will be making their debut for KSW. In a Polish/German clash, Mariusz Joniak (12-5, 2 KO, 8 sub) who specializes in finishing his opponents shall face Islam Djabrailov (10-5, 2 KO, 3 Sub), the champion of the German organization “We Love MMA”.
