In another royal division bout scheduled to take place at KSW 97, Filip Stawowy (10-5, 8 KO, 1 Sub) shall face Kamil Gawryjołek (5-1, 4 KO, 1 Sub). Both those fighters won most their fights by knockout. Their confrontation will take place on August 24^th at Arena Jaskółka in Tarnów.

Filip Stawowy has four KSW fights under his belt. In his debut, he lost to Michal Martinek, but in his next bout he submitted Marek Samociuk by rear naked choke. Later on, he had to recognize the superiority of the experienced Viktor Pešta and Ivan Vitasović. In his career, the 27-year-old fighter from Murowana Goślina has fought fifteen times and he won ten of them, putting eight of his opponents on the canvas. Before joining KSW, the popular “Tank” gathered experience fighting for various organizations like Babilon MMA or Slugfest. Earlier on, he had also successfully participated in amateur competitions.

In his career, Kamil Gawryjołek fought three times for KSW. In his debut, he knocked out Marek Samociuk as early as in the first round and he did the same thing to Olegs Jemeljanovs in his next bout. Later on, he also managed to get another first round victory by submission at Strife. As an undefeated fighter with five finishes under his belt, he returned to the cage at XTB KSW 88 to face Štefan Vojčák, but had to taste the bitterness of defeat for the first time. Kamil started training combat sports with Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and before becoming a pro he participated in amateur competitions. Among others, his accolades include winning the national championship and the European Amateur MMA League. He also fought for Babilon MMA and Madness Cage Fighting. In 2020, he won gold medal in the national BJJ championship.
