Virgil Zwicker will not compete at the upcoming KSW 27 – Cage Time show on May 17^th in Gdańsk/Sopot. The American was forced to withdraw from the scheduled bout against Tomasz Narkun after suffering an injury in training.

KSW Federation owners are in the process of securing a replacement opponent for the Polish light heavyweight and will soon release his name.

Here is the official statement prepared by Zwicker’s management:

"With much regret, Virgil Zwicker will be unable to participate in the upcoming KSW event in May due to an injury he received preparing for professional bout.  Virgil broke two ribs and bruised the surrounding ribs in training while preparing for his fight.  The doctors have assured him that he will have a speedy recovery and should be back soon.  Virgil Zwicker would like to apologize to the Polish fans and KSW.  The Rez Dog is anxious to return to Poland and make his contribution by putting on some exciting fights for all of the KSW fans.  Rez Dog will be back soon."
