Wagner Prado signs with KSW, will debut at KSW 44

Top Brazilian light heavyweight Wagner Prado (13-3) has officially signed a multi-fight contract with KSW and will debut on June 9 in Gdansk at KSW 44.
Prado has garnered a fierce reputation in Brazil as a finisher and dangerous KO artist having won all but one of his fights via KO/TKO. After going 8-0 as a professional he was snapped up by the UFC in 2012 and competed three times for the promotion including a pair of fights against Phil Davis. In late 2013 he returned to the Brazilian scene and picked up where he left off and has went 5-1 with five devastating stoppages.

On signing with KSW the 30-year-old had the following to say: "Challenge accepted! KSW one of the biggest events in the world, an event I really wanted to enter. I will concentrate and dedicate myself here and I will become champion!"

Prado enters the KSW light heavyweight division that has Tomasz Narkun as champion and a division that features a host of top European and Polish fighters.
