On October 19th, KSW shall return to Gliwice for the seventh time. The fight of the night will be a confrontation between two top European heavyweights.
In the main event of KSW 99, Štefan Vojčák (11-3, 4 KO, 2 Sub) from Slovakia ranked as number two in the heavyweight division shall face the number five, Michal Martínek (11-5, 7 KO, 1 Sub). Vojčák fought three times for KSW and he’s currently riding a two win streak. In his last bout which took place at XTB KSW 94, he knocked out Ricardo Prasel, the former challenger for the belt. Martínek has already four KSW fights under his belt, the last of which took place at the event in Paris when he put Prince Aounallah on the canvass and won a bonus for that. The popular “Blackbeard” has eleven wins in his record. Eight of them were finishes and seven of them were knockouts.
In the co-main event in Gliwice, Matúš Juráček (11-3, 4 KO, 2 Sub) from the Czech Republic ranked as number ten in the welterweight division shall collide with Kacper Koziorzębski (10-6, 4 KO) from Poland known for always putting on exciting performances.
The fight card of the upcoming KSW event is going to feature other exciting confrontations between brilliant contenders from Europe. In an exciting light heavyweight bout, Maciej Różański (14-5, 2 KO, 9 Sub), a splendid Polish grappler and a BJJ black belt shall face Vojtech Garba (8-5, 6 KO) from the Czech Republic. The featherweight Wojciech Kazieczko (4-2, 2 KO) will test his skills against Josef Štummer (4-1, 2 Sub) representing the Czech Republic. Jan Široký (13-18 1NC, 7 KO, 3 Sub) who is very popular in the Czech republic shall go up against a European prospect Gino Van Steenis (5-1, 2 KO, 1 Sub) from the Netherlands. Vasil Ducár (3-3, 3 KO), the best Czech boxer in the cruiser division is about to face the undefeated Bartosz Kurek (2-1, 1 Sub) from Poland. In another Polish/Czech confrontation, the talented Tobiasz Le (4-2, 3 KO) is about to give a warm welcome to the IAF champion Matěj Val (5-1, 2 KO, 1 Sub) who will be making his debut for KSW, Adam Niedźwiedź (8-4-1, 1 KO, 7 Sub) shall face Viktor Červinský (4-1, 1 KO, 2 Sub) and Hanka Gelnarová (0-0), a popular influencer from Ostrava who is ready to try her luck in professional MMA after her successful performances at Clash of the Stars events will go up against Dominika Steczkowska (0-1), the European champion and the bronze medalist of World Amateur MMA championship who is just beginning her career as a pro.
