KSW returns to Paris with the biggest French/French clash of the year

KSW shall return to France on December 20th with its second event. XTB KSW 101 is set to take place in La Defense Arena in Paris. The fight card of the event concluding 2024 will feature the most anticipated bout in French MMA along with nine other exciting match-ups mostly between representatives of the Tricolores, but also fighters from Poland, Germany and Belgium.

The fight of the night of the second KSW event held on the French soil will feature the performance of Salahdine Parnasse (19-2, 4 KO, 7 Sub), the KSW double champion from Paris, one of the brightest stars of European MMA and a true phenomenon of this discipline. This time, he shall defend his belt against Wilson Varela (12-5, 5 KO, 4 Sub) from Marseille ranked as number two of the lightweight division who is currently riding a six win streak. Parnasse has been a part of KSW since 2017 and he remains undefeated as a lightweight. So far, his career includes 21 fights and he won 19 of them. Varela has 17 pro MMA bouts under his belt. He managed to win twelve of them, defeating six of his opponents in the first round. Only two of his fights went the full distance.

The co-main event shall feature a clash between two veterans of European and global MMA. The seasoned Marcin Held (29-10, 4 KO, 15 Sub), number four of the KSW lightweight division is facing Davy Gallon (21-9-2 1NC, 6 KO, 7 Sub) from France who had been a part of the American organization Bellator MMA for the past few years.

The fight card of the upcoming KSW event is going to feature many other exciting confrontations between brilliant MMA fighters from Europe. After his successful debut for the organization, El Hadji Ndiaye (6-2, 1 KO) from France is about to face his countryman Ramzan Jembiev (5-2, 3 KO, 1 Sub) and so will Romain Debienne (10-5, 6 KO) who is about to collide with Mickael Lebout (23-12-2 1NC, 2 KO, 8 Sub), one of the most popular fighters from that country. Moreover, Fabien Xabidi (3-1, 2 KO) shall go up against Nacim Belhouachi (3-3, 3 Sub). The event on December 20th will also feature a performance by Artur Szczepaniak (11-3, 6 KO, 3 Sub) representing both Poland and Belgium. The former challenger for the welterweight title currently ranked as number four is about to meet with the experienced and decorated Alex Lohoré (25-10, 13 KO, 7 Sub) from France. Laïd Zerhouni (13-9 1NC, 4 KO, 8 Sub), born in France and representing France, known for finishing his opponents in almost all of his victories is set to confront with Alain Van De Merckt (8-0, 4 KO, 4 Sub) who is about to make his debut for KSW. The Belgian fighter is the undefeated champion of the organization named Levels Fight League. The owner of championship belts from few European organizations Alioune Nahaye (14-4, 9 KO, 4 Sub) from France shall go up against Eduard Kexel (10-1, 2 KO, 1 Sub) from Germany who is currently riding a six win streak. The first two fights of the night shall feature young and talented fighters at the beginning of their careers in MMA. They will be Polish/French clashes between Amaury Wako Zabo (2-0, 1 KO) and Maciej Rębacz (0-0) and also between Zakaria Hamou (2-0, 1 Sub) and Andrzej Karkula (3-0, 2 Sub).
